About Carole

Carole Copeland Thomas is an award-winning collaborative problem solver, innovator and community builder who uses her skills as a cross-cultural professional to help people explore the world while widening their horizons. She tied as the #1 graduate in her August 2015 class when she became a Certified International Tour Manager at the International Guide Academy. A 32-year entrepreneur, Carole has now integrated group travel into her global diversity and multicultural business.

She has traveled/spoken in 15 countries and led group tours in six of them. MSS Travel is a division of her enterprise, and upcoming 2019-2020 trips include group tours within Africa and India.

She is meticulous about detail, having successfully run previous tour groups and planned and executed her company's 26 Empowerment Recognition Breakfast Events over the past 19 years. In November 2019 her company will host its 13th Multicultural Conference. Her events always highlight the value of diversity, travel, and tourism in the hospitality industry.

Additionally Carole graduated with honors from Emory University and received her MBA degree from Northeastern University.

An active civic leader in the Boston area, Carole chairs the Multicultural Committee of the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau, where she also serves as a board member.

MSS Travel & Tours
MSS Travel & Tours is a division of The Multicultural Symposium Series and was launched in 2013. It is a group travel business designed to take individuals, couples, families and travel advocates to international destinations throughout the world.  Through cross cultural understanding, education and dialogue MSS Travel & Tours  provides wonderful opportunities to learn about the rich history and culture of people around the globe.
